As this school year draws to a close and we begin working to prepare for the 2025/2026 school year, we are asking that students return their Chromebooks beginning this week and have them in no later than May 28. Devices will be inspected for damage and updated over the summer and re-distributed at the beginning of the new school year. Students may turn in their Chromebooks along with the charger to Ms. Detria Everett at the Elementary School and High School students will return their Chromebooks and charger to Mrs. Crystal Robinson. Thank you so much for your on-going support of our students.

This message is to inform the Dermott School District and community that the threat of violence directed toward the District has been resolved. One juvenile has been arrested, taken into custody and charged. The case file will be forwarded to the 10th Judicial Prosecuting Attorney’s office.
This message is to inform you that the Dermott School District has received a threat of violence. We are in the process of collaborating with law enforcement authorities to determine the credibility of the threat. Our first priority is the safety of our students, faculty, and staff. We will have additional law enforcement presence on campus in the next few days. We will keep all stakeholders informed as we receive more information.
