Classes will resume at the DSD tomorrow, February 7, 2022. The buses will run at the regular scheduled times. School doors will open at 7:30 a.m.

Due to the high probability of hazardous road conditions, the Dermott School District will be closed tomorrow, Friday February 4, 2022. This will be AMI Day 2. The basketball game against the Nevada Blue Jays is still scheduled to take place at 4:00 p.m. Stay safe and warm! 🧡🖤🐏

Classes will resume Friday, February 4, 2022 at the Dermott School District starting at 9:00 a.m. If your child rides the bus, please expect the bus an hour later than the normal time. School doors will open at 8:30 a.m.

After carefully monitoring the winter weather advisory for our state and our area, the DSD will be closed Thursday, February 3, 2022. The decision was made to ensure safety of our students and staff. During the DSD's regular school board meeting in January, our local members were honored in recognition of School Board Appreciation Month! They are extraordinary people who voluntarily tackle the enormous job of governing our school district and they do so in a manner that illustrates what it means to be resilient, ready, and relentless for all they represent! Dermott School District is preparing to host a second COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic. In order to prepare for the clinic, we are sending forms home with the Elementary students and asking High School students to come by the office to pick a form up. Please have these forms returned by Tuesday, February 1, 2022. If you have any questions, please contact the Superintendent's office.
